About Me
A graduate of the University of Toronto's English program, I first began writing and publishing in Toronto's small press scene in the early 1990s. Now working as an editor, I have specialized experience producing publications that cover the technical fields of law and medicine. In addition to my professional work, I am a regular contributor to a variety of national and international publications, writing on such diverse topics as vintage tiki barware, Toronto's funk scene of the 1960s and cult movies. Recently, I also wrote a series of documentaries for Bravo! Canada spotlighting Canadian film milestones.
My self-published work has been profiled in The Globe and Mail, The National Post, This Magazine, and The Ryerson Review of Journalism, as well as on CBC Radio Two's Brave New Waves. I have also been interviewed on the CBC Radio One programs Go and Definitely Not the Opera, as well as in the documentary Nightmare in Canada: Canadian Horror on Film.
